IWA Publishing is delighted to announce today the signing of our latest three year transformative agreement with six Swedish institutions, including Chalmers University of Technology, KTH - Royal Institute of Technology, Linköping University, Lund University, Mälardalen University and Stockholm University, granting full access to the IWA Publishing journal portfolio and unlimited Open Access publication.
Article Processing Charges associated with accepted manuscripts are automatically waived for corresponding authors affiliated with any of the six Swedish institutions. Eligible authors wishing to take advantage of the fee-waiver for OA publishing in IWA Publishing journals have only to submit their manuscript using their university e-mail address and including their institutional affiliation.
IWA Publishing is actively forging new paths towards Open Access from transitioning journals to fully OA, launching new OA titles and pursuing strategic partnerships with institutions to enable our authors to publish OA as seamlessly as possible. In light of this, we are particularly grateful for institutions and librarians such as our Swedish partners that are eager to collaborate with smaller society publishers on a sustainable framework for Open Access publishing.
“We are happy that we now can offer our researchers access to all journals from IWA Publishing, as well as unlimited Open Access publishing. We believe this will help research output from KTH to evolve and disseminate” said Cecilia Heyman Widmark, Librarian at KTH - Royal Institute of Technology.
“IWA Publishing is very pleased to sign its latest transformative partnership with six prestigious Swedish universities,” said Rod Cookson, Managing Director of IWA Publishing. “Agreements like this maximise Open Access for researchers in a streamlined and efficient way.”
