IWA Publishing is pleased to announce that Hydrology Research now supports CRedIT. The Contributor Roles Taxonomy Project (CRedIT) helps to address recognition for researchers who may not always be counted as an author of a scientific paper. CRedIT’s aims are to provide transparency for all contributions of researchers in scientific works. This will also help with IWA Publishing’s ongoing work on author accountability.

CRedIT works by having 14 contributor roles and definitions of those roles, which authors choose when submitting their paper to the journal. Hydrology Research has also given authors the option to add their own contributor roles if needed.

Full information on CRedIT can be found here.
